1. When placing the agate we recommend placing the agate domed label side down to allow passerby to see the actual agate and protect the label-agate interface from the elements.

  2. Place the agate in a location in which the chance of discovery is high.

  3. Place the agate securely in any location such that it cannot be inadvertently displaced, fall and break, injure another, or be lost to any potential discoverer.

  4. For an active agate to travel far, consider placing it on a bus, plane, boat or other means of transportation that will bring your rock to wonderful new places.

  5. Note the time, place, exact location, reasons for traveling when you leave an agate. As soon as possible, enter these into the journal, as well as diary what was going through your thoughts and feelings at that time!

  6. Use as an introduction to find friends and cyberpals during your travels!

  7. Encourage your Rock Discoverer to place your agate back into circulation so that a pyramid of Discoverers from around the world will find your calling card and contact you via RockTraveler.com!
  1. Use as a projectile, weapon or missile at any time (do not throw the agates, they will break and could hurt someone severely).

  2. Do not play catch or use the agates as a aerodynamic toy.

  3. Put in food or cook with it in any way as the domed label should not be ingested.

  4. Put in water unless left as final location for your Rock agate.

  5. Cut with an agate, even if broken, as the sharp edges can crumble and embed in ones skin.

  6. Place on fragile materials or fabrics as the agate may cut the material or cause permanent damage to expensive items.

  7. Leave in locations restricted by an individual, city, state, federal government building, parks, reserves or where wild or domestic animals may attempt to remove and consume the silicon label.
    1. Always ask permission if unsure that a labeled agate placed may be construed as littering or pollution.
    2. Do not place in any container designed to hold an animal such as swim tank, zoo enclosure.

  8. Put near any medical equipment that could be damaged by the sharp agate.

  9. Ingest, lick, swallow or consume in any way. Call your physician and bring an example of the domed label with you to the emergency room if a person swallows. The label is silicon.

  10. Allow children under 6 years of age, who may attempt to swallow the RTW globe, remove and consume the label or injure themselves with a sharp agate, play with, handle or transport any RTW product.

  11. Place an agate near an edge that could be inadvertently displaced, fall and break, injure another, or be lost to any potential discoverer.

  12. Place the agate in a dangerous location that either a child or adult discoverer would risk injury or death in an attempt to retrieve the agate.

  13. Remove or deface the Rock-this-world label in any way as this will prevent the Traveler from enjoying the RTW experience.

  14. Place near fire or extreme temperatures, in spas or at locations in which caustic chemicals will destroy the RTW logo graphic and serial number. Adherence of label is not guaranteed under any of these conditions.
